Based on cars built by the Burlington's Havelock Shops, similar refrigerated cars were in service on many railroads from the 1960s to the early 2000s. A must-have car for serving cold storage facilities and grocery wholesalers, the prototypes handled all kinds of temperature sensitive food products.
