Vintage WESTERN FLYER 26” men’s Super X-53 Bicycle. Partial amateur restoration done years ago on Very Good Original Bike. Most of the dark maroon frame has been repainted - except were it says X-53 super. Horn Tank & Chain Guard have also been repainted. Rear rack is original paint. Chrome Fenders appear to have been sprayed with a light film preserver. Chrome Fenders look pretty good from what I can tell. Most of the rest of the chrome also appears to have been sprayed also but with a very light coat of dull/ satin silver paint. Removed paint from front light and the original chrome is really nice ( see picture ) - guess that’s why they call it AMATEUR. Did not remove any other chrome paint. Bike has original nice TROXEL seat - no scuffs, tears or rips just a couple of spots of old paint. From rim has a light paint spray - rear looks original with preserver. Has a newer Greenfield Kickstand. Mostly original parts & complete - missing reflector on lower back fender. Bendix Brake On Rear. NEEDS TIRES. Looks very rideable with new tires. Restore or ride as is. Will be professionally packaged for shipping by local bike shop, or can be a pickup.
