VTG 1990 Gov. James J. Florio New Jersey Political Souvenir Crystal Trinket Box

Description

This lead crystal trinket box was a commemorative gift to celebrate the inauguration of James J. Florio as Governor of New Jersey in 1990. The box was manufactured by RCR (Royal Crystal Rock) of Italy - Gov. Florio was New Jersey's first governor of Italian ancestry. The box measures approximately 2.75" square x 1.625" tall. It has a few scuffs and scratches and there are two chips, one measuring about 3/16" on the exterior of the top portion of the box
on the side
near where it separates from the bottom and the other a flake, 3/8" long, off the same top portion but on the outer corner diagonal from the other chip (see photos). Neither chip goes through to the interior side. The interior label is peeling up a bit.
