    I’m not sure who Tom Blatt was, and my brief Google search did not shed any light on his identity.  Perhaps you do, or maybe you just appreciate this great example of an antique political cartoon smear campaign.  Here’s what I do know: The postcard has a 1907 copyright by Rose Hyman. It was sent in 1910 from Anna, Ohio. Tom Blatt, if his ever-so-flattering picture is remotely accurate, is a dark haired man who is a bit on the heavier side, had a red nose, and was not really the working man’s friend.
