Vintage Makeup Compact Lot including Musical Volupte.
You are bidding on a lot of vintage compacts. All are in good condition considering that most them are at least 60 years old.
Volupte musical compact plays “Let me Call You Sweetheart” it appears to be and never used condition and includes the original box. It does, however, have a loose music box mechanism that probably has to be glued in place. It’s in working condition. The mirror has no scratches but does have some price sticker residue that I did not attempt to clean. The compact itself is very clean with no visible wear on the outside. It has a musical note with two large rhinestones and baguettes and a lipstick holder as well. The box is damaged
The red and gold compact
is Zell 5th Ave. The mirror has some clouding. I did not attempt to clean it.
The hexagon shape compact is very unusual. I’m a collector, and have never seen anything like it. The compact itself appears to be a celluloid or early plastic. The front is a petit Point? scene which I can’t make out.
The mirror is cloudy and there is still rouge and powder inside with the puff and sifter.
The Coty compact is in nice condition. the mirror is very clear.
The small gold compact has one small spot of discoloration on the front but it’s otherwise in great condition. The mirror is clear but does have a few spots that I did not attempt to clean. There are no markings other than Made in the USA
