This is a grouping of paper ephemera for Harold Stassen, former Governor of Minnesota and Presidential candidate in 1940 and 1948 as follows:
1943 letter on the Governor's stationery in condolences to the widow of a supporter - the letter appears to have Stassen's original signature and is in generally good condition as shown
1946 mimeographed letter from Stassen to a supporter outlining the fallacy of personal attacks and slander on him and his family - mimeographed signature - generally good condition with some toning
1940s receipt for a donation to the Harold Stassen presidential campaign - pencil and ink writing as shown
Small paper item with orange lettering asking for attendance at the 10th Ward All Party Stassen Dinner in 1938 when Stassen was a candidate for Governor - pencil writing as shown
Fold out mailed brochure which I guess was done when Stassen was running for Governor, there is no date on it - ink and pencil writing as shown
