VINTAGE ELGIN AMERICAN GOLD TONE MAKEUP COMPACT MUSICAL - WORKS
Neat vintage compact in nice condition.  Shows minor wear from age.  I tested the 'music box' mechanism and it works.  I pulled up little peg to the left of the winder and it plays.  The little peg goes down when the lid is closed.  I didn't want to take any chances on doing damage to the piece, so I only tested it 2 times.  Closures work properly.   The tune sounds like "Let Me Call You Sweetheart".
