Up for grabs is an extremely rare collectors piece named the Kidcycle. It is a stationary exercise bike for children. These were first made in 1987 by Apparent Inc. based in Grass Valley California. Here is an article from the L.A. Times about the then, new product:

Once upon a time, in neighborhoods not so very far away, little boys and girls used to exercise by madly racing tricycles and bicycles up driveways, down sidewalks, and across streets.
Now comes the exercycle for children aged 4 to 10. Made by Apparent Inc. of Grass Valley, Calif., the 85-pound Kidcycle includes a multicolored, computerized display board with a timer, odometer and a row of lights that flash from left to right as youngsters pedal.
Dyke DeWitt, the company's co-founder, said he dreamed up the invention when his own children kept trying to use the adult exercycles at a Colorado fitness club he owned and that it is aimed at health clubs and hotels. In the three months since the product's launching, the company says it has shipped about 125. The price: ,250.
There are a few more mentions of the Kidcycle in a few more news paper articles, one in the L.A. Times and the other in the Cincinnati Enquirer but, that's about all the information that's out there.
The Kidcycle stationary bike does have some cool pieces on it. It is equipped with a Tuff Pro Neck II Stem and an ACS hub on an anodized gold Ukai Rim. The bike has a display that lights up as you pedal that is shown in a video (Link listed below). The head light and tail light also light up as the bike is pedaled. This is a very cool collectors piece in great condition for its age. It screams 80's and looks like it should be in one of the Tron movies. Add this very cool, rare piece to your collection fill other collectors with envy.
