Vintage 1957 Schwinn Green Phantom bicycle.  Beautiful.     b6 panther hornet

Description

1957 Schwinn Green Phantom.  I've owned it for several years.  This is the real deal, not a reproduction.  It is a very nice example.  It has modern tires and a newer chain to make it a nice reliable riding bike.  The leather on the seat has a beautiful look.  The horn works good, the light isn't working and probably needs a bulb and cleaned.  I never tried the rear brake light. The tank is super solid with some surface rust on the inside.  In short, this is a straight bike with a great look.  It is an old bike and has the usual chips, scratches, rust, etc.
Green Phantoms aren't particularly common and this one would be a great addition to any serious bicycle collection or enjoy the heck out of it on your local bike trail.  It rides like butter!  You should get looks and compliments whenever you ride!!

I will ship to the lower 48 states of the U.S.A only via UPS only!!!  No Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii.  I pack very carefully, like it's an ancient artifact so it has the best chance possible of making it to you safely.  Check my feedback on shipping.  I will pack it in one box or possibly 2, depending on how it fits, but regardless, the total shipping price will not change from the original 9.  I cannot control what happens in shipping, so it is possible some damage could occur.  I love this bike and want to protect it for the next owner!   It will need re-assembled when you receive it, and all the nuts, screws, washers, etc. are in their place to make putting it back together easier.  Due to the value of the bike, signature verification is required before they drop it off, so keep that in mind.  I have shipped many many bikes over the years(check my feedback).  Selling as-is, no returns.  Also available for local pick-up.  No zero feedback bidders without contacting me first.
