Victorian holder has a shield between scroll work w number 15 (possible for seat or table position) & possibly a letter etched below. Silver wash is mostly gone.

The clip measures 2 inches long & about 1-5/8

inches at the widest part, opening is about 5/16

inch. It shows some wear considering its age & is pre-owned.
