    Matchlessantiques is offering smiths and collectors this RARE - SIZE 90 lb. SODING & HALBACH Double Horn  Blacksmith Anvil dated 1905. German anvils are some of the finest made anvils in the world, and this one is no exception. It's all forged wrought iron with a steel face place. The face of the anvil is flat with light use marks. The edges are have some chatter on one side. What a great anvil for doing smaller work. The face is hard and rebound is amazing. The anvil's trademark includes the maker's name " S (circle) H", the famous "Forget Me Not" phrase ("Vergiss Mein Nicht") around a picture of the four pedal Myosotis flower. The date "1905", "No. 12" and the weight "41 K" for kgs.
