Train-Miniature
arrived on the hobby market in the late 1960s. The company name was presented originally in hyphenated form and this is how it is presented on this resource website.
By the late 1970s, the company moved from La Mesa, Calif., to Illinois for its final years, officially changing its name to Train Miniature of Illinois, Ltd. In the early 1980s, Train Miniature’s tooling assets were purchased by Walthers
and became the basis for that company’s modern era plastic line of HO-scale freight cars.
Up for sale is this Train Miniature Reefer kit.
