Schwinn Corvette Bicycle - 1962

Description

Schwinn Corvette. Chicago Schwinn K224242.....October....10/08 1962. Appears to be a decent 59 year old bicycle. I am not familiar with the Corvette. I will describe the best I can. The bicycle has been in the basement for 35+ years. So no real corrosion.
Black paint is fair. Rear fender has some dents/dings, 4 holes drilled around reflector, new after market reflector supplied. Front fender has some dings. Doesn’t show signs of a luggage rack ever on front or rear (?). Brake levers, cables,work good. Seat is in decent condition. 3 speed shifter and wheel work. Light works, horn only makes a contact sound, no horn. Speedometer cable turns but not sure speedometer works. Wheels, spokes look good. Tires are old, dry rot, they are BF Goodrich Silvertown (original ?). Pedals roll, look decent. Kick stand good condition.
Bicycle needs serviced and cleaned to your preference. Bike sold as-is with no warranty.
Bicycle will be dissembled as necessary and package by a bicycle shop for shipping. Some reassembly will be required.
