This auction is final as is. Now for the Good Part---I am Pleased to offer this Authentic Original Vintage Advertising Carroll Gartin for Mississippi Lt. Governor Campaign Pinback Button in Great Condition. This is Not a repro and comes from an Estate Sale. Gartin was born in Meridian, Mississippi and lived in Laurel, Mississippi. He was Lt. Governor of Miss. from 1952 until 1960, and then again in 1964 and died in office in 1966. He was a Democrat and a White Supremacist and was a member of the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission, which was Devoted to Preserving Racial Segregation in Miss. It reads: MISSISSIPPI FOR GARTIN FOR MISSISSIPPI. The Original Pin is in place and works. It is in Great Condition. It is Really Clean. No damage, No repairs and No touch-ups.
