    1908-1920 Republican Candidates Trigate Campaign Pinback
    :
    The trigate was a state wide off-year election (1909) from Pennsylvania featuring winning republicans (top to bottom, left to right) – A.E. Sisson for Auditor General (Albert Everton Sisson was a PA State Senator from Erie County [NW PA] who served as Auditor General 1910-1914); J.A. Stober for State Treasurer (Jermiah A. Stober was a cigar manufacturer from the Lancaster/York area who died at age 67 before taking office [Charles Fredrick Wright was appointed in his place]), and R. Von Moschzisker for Supreme Court Justice (Robert Von Moschzisker was a Philadelphia Common Pleas judge [1903-1909] who was the youngest elected PA Supreme court judge in 1909, serving until 1930 [as Chief Justice from 1921-39]). This unusual button measures 7/8" in diameter. The original back paper with the manufacturer "Whitehead & Hoag". This pinback is in excellent condition with some light handling wear
