Our dongle uses the latest 5.0+EDR technology
making lost connection issues and lag time in data transfers a thing of the past. Many cheaper units(and expensive ones too) always lose the connection, have paring issues or lag time in data or voice transmission. Time and time again many other units lose connection, will not connect at all, or just stop working all together. We fixed all those issues with 5.0+EDR. 5.0 give our dongles the capability to transfer data up to 2 Mbps faster than 4.2. That means when you push the PTT you instantly can talk with little to no lag time.
Staying connected is very important when you are flying and have to talk to the tower, your friends, or  hear your instructor. Our dongle has a talk time of 8 hours and a standby time of over 200 hours and the PTT has a working time of over 100 hours. This ensures you stay connected when you need it the most.

When our unit is connected to your headset it will take over the second channel (music). Yes you can listen to music at the same time while the unit is on and NO radio transmission is present, however when the radio is squawked the music will go away and will be replaced with radio transmission but come back after a few seconds of NO radio transmission (read your headset manual for more info).
