Mother of Pearl 1950's gold tone fashion compact "Siggi" made in USA used VG. All closures on compact work well. Original puff included.  No powder residue so may not have been used for makeup but only for fashion and mirror. There are scratches on the gold tone and some discoloration on one edge but the overall condition is VG considering age.  Mother of Pearl face has some lovely reflective qualities. I’m not sure about the “Siggi mother of pearl Made in USA” label that appears on the mirror, but I venture that Siggi may have been a bygone company or logo that I have not been able to identify.  This compact would make a lovely gift for any fashionista or vintage collector.
