    Description

I have for sale a political button for James Fairman Fielder who was a Democratic politician in New Jersey.  He served as acting governor of New Jersey from March 1, 1913 to October 28, 1913 after Woodrow Wilson was elected President.  This button is for his 1913 Governor campaign which he won and served from January 20, 1914 to January 16, 1917.  The button is 3/4 inch in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition with no damage.  His bust is in the center and around the rim it reads FOR GOVERNOR - JAMES F. FIELDER.  On the edge it reads PAID FOR BY J F FIELDER LEAGUE 76 MONTGOMERY ST. J C.  On the back paper it shows the button was made by the Whitehead & Hoag company of Newark, New Jersey.  Please see more in my EBAY STORE at TE COLLECTABLES.  (17,170)
