    6x9.5 Vintage TLS on Beaux Arts Apartment hotel letterhead from 1938 thanking someone for their work in a picture titled; "A Dream Comes True." Signed in fountain pen ink by Floyd Gibbons at the conclusion. Wear and toning on edges with folding creases, otherwise, in fine condition.
    (1887–1939) Floyd Phillips Gibbons was the war correspondent for the Chicago Tribune during World War I. One of radio's first news reporters and commentators, he was famous for a fast-talking delivery style. Floyd Gibbons lived a life of danger of which he often wrote and spoke.
