    Description

For bid is an original 1966 Berkeley, California flier with a 1932 Adolf Hitler quote delivered in Hamburg in 1932 with a photograph of California Governor candidate RONALD REAGAN at the top:  "The streets of our country are in turmoil.  The universities are filled with students rebelling and rioting.  Communists are seeking to destroy our country.  Russia is threatening us with her might and the Republic is in danger.  Yes, danger from within and without.  We need law and order.  Yes, without law and order our nation cannot survive.  Elect us and we shall restore law and order."  Photo of Reagan pointing his left index finger from a table.
Union printed flier by Berkeley Graphic Arts (union printing label in lower left area of flier).  GREAT piece of California politics history.  Printed by hippies and young leftists working against Reagan.  Reagan said Pat Brown was too lenient on radicals at the University of California, etc.
Flier is in very good condition overall.
