    General Information
How much will the ashes weigh?
They are not heavy at all and vary from three to one half pounds.  In the final analysis bone density and body height are the two biggest factors in cremated remains weight.
What size cremation urn do I need to buy?
Cremation urns are sold on the basis of volume in cubic inches. As a general rule of thumb for every pound that the deceased pet weighed, their cremation remains will be one cubic inch in volume. There are nominally five size classes for urns:
Small urns range up to 28 cubic inches in volume.
Medium urns range up to 49 cubic inches in volume.
Large urns range up to 56 cubic inches in volume.
    Extra large
urns range up to 68 cubic inches in volume.
For larger sizes select a human cremation urn.
    How are cremation urns closed?
Every urn should have the ability to be permanently closed.  Our boxes are designed to permanent closed by use of glue or screws (included).
