Here we have a lovely set of reproduction brass picture hangers for your period decorating.  I purchased them in a high-end accessory store in the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1980's and never used them.  They are still in their original plastic packaging.
They are lovely for a traditional look or if you're crafty...you could paint them with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in your own color preference for your decorating theme.
