Antique Make-Up Compact With Rockford Clock.
This was my husband’s great grandmother’s make-up compact. It still has rouge in it as well as the applicator. All of the powder has been used, but the applicator with delicate stitching remains.
The watch is hinged. Rockford brand watches were manufactured in the historic Rockford Watch Factory in Rockford, Illinois.
I wound the watch and it has kept accurate time for over an hour now, but can’t say for sure if it would continue to do so.
