Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer this awesome black and red Factory Five 1965 Shelby Cobra replica. This black beauty is a hand-built Factory Five Mark IV, titled in 2020 as an ASVE (ASsembled VEhicle), and is "hot off the press"! As you can tell from the pictures and video, it looks virtually unused (which one would expect for a vehicle with just over 100 miles on the freshly completed build). A very stout 5.0L quad-cam Ford Racing Coyote V8 Gen II engine, mated to a crisp-shifting Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission (with its QuickTime SFI-Approved bell housing) provides the go; and Factory Five's tube-frame chassis and custom suspension keeps things where they belong - rubber down on the pavement. A Summit Racing electric fuel pump ensures that this baby has plenty of fuel delivery. The Coyote has been outfitted with a Moroso deep sump oil pan for plenty of oil capacity, and the big aluminum radiator has an electric cooling fan to keep the temps in check. There is a Centerforce clutch kit and Ram Clutches Hydraulic throwout bearing to ensure smooth shifting and efficient power transfer from the engine to the transmission. The Wilwood pedal assembly gives the driver's feet intimate connection to the car, looks great in the cockpit, too. The chassis is powder-coated to minimize any corrosion potential. An Energy Suspension powertrain mounting kit keeps the drivetrain in place and reduces felt vibrations in the cockpit. The Ford Racing Coyote Control Pack and Harness sends all of the necessary electrical signals and provides for easy access to programming. Out back, a Moser 8.8" rear end takes care of getting the power to the ground, and sports 31-spline axles. The Deluxe 3-link rear suspension with coilovers helps keep the rears planted during spirited driving, and the 4-wheel Wilwood disc brake package ensures rapid, fade-free stops. Given the extremely light weight of the car and a potent V8 up front, this thing is a rocket! A big aluminum radiator with an electric fan help keep the mill in proper operating temps. Custom ceramic-coated headers feed into the stainless steel dual side-pipes and provide for that great throaty sound that the early Cobras were famous for. A full set of Autometer Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite gauges help the driver monitor critical operating functions.
The high gloss Axalta Chromax UA Black paint, with its Chromax Lazer Red stripes is an aggressive and welcome change from the usual blue/white/gray color combo. A set of Hallibrand-style aluminum wheels with machined silver lips and matte centers are shod with some very meaty Nitto 555G2 high performance radial tires, sized P245/45ZR17 up front, and P315/35ZR17s out back, so this beast has plenty of grip. Inside, you'll find a spartan black interior, with fresh carpet and black leather "Big and Tall" seats (which have barely even been sat in), along with Simpson racing harnesses to keep you in place while you're out having too much fun...it all adds up to the ultimate Cobra Replica package. Modern Coyote power and electronics ensure that this car is ready when you are! AVAILABILITY
: We advertise our inventory across multiple websites. It is best practice to inquire about the advertised vehicle prior to purchasing in order confirm that it was not already sold. Vehicles may be sold prior to its eBay advertising ending, and we reserve the right to end advertising/listing early or to cancel any and all bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.  In the event that a bidder has the winning bid or finalizes the buy it now price, but did not check availability and the vehicle was sold before a deposit and contracts were executed, then we are not liable nor responsible.
AS-IS WHERE-IS
: All vehicles are sold on an AS-IS WHERE-IS basis.  Having a third party inspection and addressing any concerns is recommended prior to purchase.  It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify all advertisements which shall include but not limited to options, accessories, and vehicle condition before time of sale.  If the purchaser chooses to waive an inspection, the AS-IS WHERE-IS is still enforced.  Any concerns will not be addressed post sale as the sale is final without cures or remedies.
PAYMENT
: We require a non-refundable ,000 deposit within 24 hours of offer being placed.  A deposit is a commitment to purchase and is applied towards the purchase price. The commitment to purchase is not contingent upon inspection, financing, or any other terms or conditions.
We require full payment within 7 days of offer acceptance, unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing.
If the deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said time frame, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered null and void.
We accept wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears), ACH, credit cards (for the agreed deposit amount only and will incur a 3% fee), and in person cash payments. We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers.  PayPal and American Express is not accepted.
VEHICLE RELEASE
: Signed purchase packet which shall include but not limited to the purchase contract, cleared payment in full, and a copy of your driver's license will be needed before the vehicle is released.
Fees and Taxes
All finalized transactions will have additional charges if applicable which could include the following: sales tax, title fees, license & registration fees, and other additional government or licensing agency charges to register the vehicle.  The purchaser is responsible for these charges.
The advertised price and winning auction bids shall include a document fee of 9.73.
All credit cards are charged a 3% convenient fee.
