Toyota fj40 1981 land cruiser american model. I'm selling my beautiful American model Toyota FJ40 in original blue color. the best years of these cars were 79-80-81-82 and 83. this fj40 is one of the last one to be imported it is very rare it comes with 3.70 differentials and a 22 gallon gas tank The difference between the American model and those imported from Central and South America is that the American model can reach more speed on the freeway unlike other imported cars that have different gears and are usually slower. On the other hand, this fj40 has the factory air conditioning and power steering from . It also the factory radio. I am the third owner. This car was restored 4 years ago and has been in my garage. I only drive it on some weekends or very special days. The Mechanic's runs perfect the engine sounds good without problem. the carburettor was rebuilt last year. It doesn't leak oil anywhere. has new brakes the air conditioning cools perfectly and the heating works amazing. the stereo is original I have the catalog the radio works perfect the cassette sometimes works and sometimes not. needs to repair. Just connected some speakers to the roll bar so I didn't have not to modify anything in the car and keep it original. The cigarette lighter works and you can connect the cell phone charger without problem. body is clean nothing is chipped everything that was chipped was removed, repaired and painted.
The INSIDE the roof was removed and the headliner was replaced. the front seats and jumper seats were rebuilt and everything is new. the floor mat is almost like new and is the original. The central console works the heating works The seat belt broke and I only put a temporary replacement that works perfectly. I still have the original belt. we are open to any inspection these cars each year increase in value and are becoming rarer. This one even more because it is an American model is even more rare. I love driving it and reminiscing about the old days. This car for me symbolizes part of my past where everything was simpler. because this car is like that. simple and beautiful. do not trade only serious people. not lowballers.
