GT40P2257 is a GT40 MKI Continuation built by Superformance LLC. A quality re-creation of the original Ford GT40 that beat Ferrari and finished in the top three positions in the grueling Le Mans 24 Hours in 1966, and continued to win for 4 consecutive years. In developing the exhilarating GT40 continuation, Superformance engineers went to great lengths to ensure authenticity. So authentic, the GT40 also carries the GT40/P chassis number and is eligible for the official GT40 registry and Shelby Registry. The GT40 continuation is built to exact standards, in fact over two thirds of the rolling chassis parts are interchangeable with that of an original car.
This GT40 is painted in the famous Gulf Livery and is built as a right hand drive, right hand shift car with period correct BRM pin drive wheels with orange centers. Some great features include AC, an Alcantara interior, AVON CR6ZZ Tires, and GT40 sill and floor mats. Heat shielding Lizard Skin sprayed in wheel wells and rear clam shell, Olthoff Racing Lexan Rear Window upgrade, Olthoff Racing Rear Bonnet Lift Kit, heat shielding in the doors and in the body.
Power comes from a Keith Craft 347cui fuel injected engine with 515HP and is going in a ZF-RBT 5 Speed Transaxle transmission.
GT40 P2257 was serviced and upgraded with new wheel bearings, ball joints and other parts. It is a very clean example that is ready to hit the road!
We gladly help you to get your classic shipped to your country worldwide and delivered right to your home. With years of experience we work together with the best partners in the shipping business to make sure you classic car gets there . We also offer a "German TUV Service" where we take care of all the things that need to be changed or taken care of, to get it road legal in europe.

    About Vintage Planet
Vintage planet is a passion driven business founded by Robert Hall and Marcus Heurich.
Marcus grew up in a small town in Bavaria driving German cars but dreaming of owning American muscle cars and living in the US. Robert grew up in a small town in Tennessee driving  German cars and dreaming of running flat-out on the Autobahn in Bavaria!
Not too long ago fate brought these two gearheads together. Well it wasn’t actually fate it was Craigslist! Marcus and his wife Christina were in Tennessee looking for some classic American iron when they found Robert’s ad for a 1963 Buick Electra 225. Within a few short hours Marcus was introduced to Arnold Palmer ice tea and the groundwork was laid for Vintage Planet!
These two brothers from another mother quickly realized they had very similar taste in cars, Motorsports and military aircraft, so with this much in common how could they possibly not just go all in and start a business buying, selling, servicing and consigning classic and specialty cars.
For several years Marcus operated his business in Bavaria and Robert has owned and operated American Powertrain and The Driven Man in Tennessee. In 2018  these businesses move into a multi building location just off of I-40 exit 290 in Cookeville Tennessee.
Cookeville may not be the obvious hub of classic car activity, but it is within a day’s Drive of the majority of the population of the Eastern US. The location right up against I-40 means the directions to Los Angeles are simply “turn left out of the driveway, take your first right and your first left. Go to the end of the road and that’s LA!”
Whether you’re buying your first classic car or your 100th you’ll enjoy working with Vintage Planet.
If you are selling a prized family heirloom or just thinning out your collection you will appreciate the aimiable respect and professionalism delivered by Vintage Planet in each and every one of their consignment situations.
The Vintage Planet staff  know a well-maintained classic car is a joy to own and drive, but a poorly maintained one is a burden to own, and that is why Vintage Planet service center exists. Whether your car needs just a tune up or if it has been sitting for years and needs a thorough resurrecting you will find what you need in Vintage Planet’s 12,000 square foot climate controlled garage.
Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining a classic or specialty car Vintage Planet has what you’re looking for.
Be bold. Drive old, and we hope to see you soon!
