    Description

Approx. 12 1/2 X 18 1/2 Inch Paper Political Broadside/ Poster For Milton Shapp For Pennsylvania Governor "Compare The Candidates". Put out by the Shapp for Governor Committee in 1966, chart compares the qualifications of Shapp  while not mentioning his opponent's name (Ray Shafer). Tout's Shapp's chairmanship of the Business and Professional Men for Kennedy and Johnson in 1960. Also claims to have persuaded Kennedy to start the Peace Corps. Tries to paint his opponent as a professional politician. Poster must not have worked as Shafer won in November. But Shapp would make a comeback in 1970 by beating Republican Ray Broderick for the governorship. Poster is in very good condition although there are creases where poster has been folded. Will be mailed that way. Buyer will pay for shipping.
