1960 Taylor Dunn Trident

The Taylor Dunn company is known for making quality commercial vehicles for industrial purposes, however , starting in 1959, they decide to make a street legal  electric grocery getter , called the Trident. This is that vehicle! One of only 51 left in existence, this rare little car is in extrordinarily high demand, and has pulled in mid range 5 digit prices from Sotheby's and Barrett Jackson auctions. This particular unit is a 1960, has tiller steering , all lights, 3 speeds and reverse, and was recently restored to the cute little eye catcher you see here. The body is in amazing shape, with shiny light blue paint , rolled and pleated seat and armrests. gray carpet covers the headliner, trunk , and forward areas, while dash ledge and floor are covered in the ORIGINAL rubber . The doors were missing when i got it, but the hinges are in place,  and the batteries were no good, other than that, it is complete as it was assembled.And operates exactly as it was intended. these little workhorses look small, but are surprisingly roomy, go 50 mi. on a single charge, and do nearly 30 mph!!!!! Dont let this valuable piece of American History get away, it is the product of the American dream, .It represents all of the freedom to be an american, come up with an idea, bring that idea to fruition and become a household name!  I am willing to do whatever it takes to ship this vehicle to the winner. in a manner that both parties agree upon, provided the buyer assumes the costs.
