1960-1961 Green Schwinn Hornet Men's Bike Antique Vintage Unique Find

This Green Schwinn Hornet is a South Georgia picker’s find. It belongs to a friend of mine who has had it for some time. The serial number is L02970. It’s missing the tank but has the baskets and it looks like the speedometer is missing but it still has the part leading down to the wheel. A great piece of history to restore or leave as is. Local pick up only. Bike history said it was a 1954 or 56 as seen in the picture but a person who knows more than I do said the serial number has a 0 at the end which means 1960-61.
