1955 Hawthorne Deluxe / Montgomery Ward Men's Bicycle

Description

This is the best bicycle Hawthorne ever produced, It came with a Delta "Motorcycle style" headlight.  A stop-tail-directional light under the rear rack with the Delta turn signal switch on the upper cross bar.  A floating spring action front fork (Road Master style).  Stock with white wall tires on chrome rims, and a upper horn tank.  Originally only offered in Red with Metallic Silver accents.  It is in stock faded condition, and I have repacked / cleaned and greased all bearings and installed new tubes on some nice vintage tires to make this bike ridable.  Found a correct chain guard and should be here soon to complete this cool, vintage, ridable piece of history.  This is not a pieced together everyday Schwinn, it is as original as original gets.  Please see all pictures and my feedback to bid with confidence.  You may also contact me with any questions you may have.  Thank you for looking, Todd
