Mack Trucks produced 200 of the Type 25 Class 125 Crash Trucks at its Long Island City plant from 1 July 1942 thru 5 April 1943. Built under War Department contract W-978-eng-6398 the trucks carried Mack chassis #s 25 S 1010 to 1209 and USA #s 502469-502668
I originally bought this truck to make it into a
Mack E Pickup
, but once I contacted the
Mack Museum
and found out how rare it is, I couldn't do it.
We have not tried to start or turn over the truck. It appears very complete and will need a complete restoration. This is a VERY SOLID RARE MACK EF and if you contact the
Mack Museum
they can give you photos of this specific truck when it left the assembly line.
Truck also comes with a
MACK EN Engine Spec Book
, a RARE
STERLING -SIRENLITE with RED LITE
from Rochester, NY and a RARE set of
General Electric RED GE 4001R Seal Beam emergency lights.
Attached are a few
Mack Factory pictures
and a sample of a restored truck.
A
non-refundable 0 deposit
at the end of auction is required. A Bill of Sale will be given after Final Payment.
Truck will need to be picked up by November 1st, 2021.....the snow starts early.
Good luck bidding. Please feel free to contact me. Thanks for looking,
