    Approx. Two And Three-Quarters Inch Political Cardboard Tag "Democratic State Wide Picnic & Rally Hershey Park August 27th, 1938". In 1938, Charles Jones was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Pennsylvania while Governor George Earle was the Democratic nominee for the United States Senate.  Both went down to defeat in November as Earle lost to Republican James Davis and Jones lost to Arthur James.
