This listing is for the original paper campaign ticket shown. George Washington and flags illustrated.  "1876 Republican Campaign Ticket, Person C. Cheney for Governor of New Hampshire upon the Centennial of the USA."
This is the Centennial Ballot, celebrating 100 years of American Independence.    It was normal in those days, for Gubernatorial tickets to be printed for each Ward in the state.  And this ticket is no exception, except that this ticket has an exceptionally large number of candidates listed on it … 24.  Because of this the ticket is almost twice as long as a normal ticket.  Measures approx 11.75"x5-3/8", and it is split into 2 pieces.
So in addition to Person C. Cheney's name near the top of the ballot (just below the illustration of George Washington) you'll also see William A. Peirce who was running for Railroad Commissioner, John Parker who was running for State Councillor, and James F. Briggs who was running for the US Senate.
And below that are the names of the other 20 candidates :

There is a referendum question on the Ballot.  "Is it expedient that a Convention be called to revise the Constitution?   I'm sure it was self-evident to the men reading the referendum question that it was referring to the US Constitution.   And it is even more evident that a Constitutional Convention was NOT called in 1876.  So I guess we could say that that referendum question didn't go anywhere.
The top of the Ballot illustration celebrating the Centennial of the United States stating "REPUBLICAN TICKET … Ward One."  Below that is an illustration of George Washington surrounded by 4 flags … 2 American flags and presumably 2 New Hampshire flags.  Below that is fancy lettering stating "1876."
Cheney did go on to win … win his second term as Governor that year.   He actually served as Governor from 1875 to 1877.   Prior to that he engaged in the manufacture of paper, and in 1854 was a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. During the Civil War he was first lieutenant and regimental quartermaster in the Thirteenth Regiment of the New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry (1862–1863). He was state railroad commissioner 1864-1867, and was mayor of Manchester in 1871.
After serving as Governor, Cheney was appointed as a Republican to the United States Senate to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Austin F. Pike.  Later he served as Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Switzerland in 1892–1893.
