    This ballot measures approx. 4 1/4
    " by 5 7/8
    " and is printed on blue paper.  The CT election was held on the first Monday in April so this election (wherein Loomis lost to Republican William A. Buckingham 48.8% to his 51.2%) was held a week before the outbreak of the Civil War.
    Excellent condition with very light and minor edge toning and a blank reverse side.  Thanks for looking at this auction.
